Join us at the Fleet Science Center in the Exploration Bar to explore DNA with local scientists. Members of the San Diego Center for Systems Biology and graduate students from the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology program at UCSD will be there to share exciting, hands-on exercises that will show you what origami and remote control cars can teach us about how scientist study genomes. Members of the the Salk Institute will also be there with extraction tools to hone your pipetting skills so to obtain a perfect measurement with the click of a thumb.
