Description:
The Mathematical Modeling Core of the San Diego Center for Systems Biology will hold a hands-on workshop on using CellProfiler software designed for automatic processing and analysis of cell images. The first session on 11/17 will introduce you to image analysis using CellProfiler. We will cover the basics of automated image analysis, the workflow of using CellProfiler, the in-built functions and capabilities of CellProfiler and resources you can turn to when you are stuck. The second session 11/18 will be devoted to hands-on exercises using your own images (you will have to bring your own laptop & images for analysis!), and you will learn to exploit CellProfiler for your particular brand of image analysis. The workshop will be led by Dr. Pavan Kadandale.
Registration is limited to 25 people. Please register ASAP and tell us a little about yourself (your lab, the project(s) in which image analysis is needed). You will receive confirmation of your registration by November 10.
Registration is limited to 25 people. The class has reached maximum capacity. Registration is now CLOSED.
