2014 San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering

Wow! What an incredible 2014 EXPO DAY at PETCO Park! Our Bioinformatics and Systems Biology graduate students delivered another outstanding and memorable day of hands-on, interactive Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities and entertainment to more than 23,000 participants. We had a FANTASTIC TIME promoting Systems Biology in America’s Finest City! The 2014 San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering did more than promote the tremendous role our university and city play in the world of science and engineering — they helped awaken a greater interest in STEM and STEM education for literally thousands of students across all socio-economic backgrounds.
